Sharing of a cold.....

Our Location: Saddle Mountain BLM, Tonopah, Arizona

No post yesterday. Riley, my loving daughter shared her cold with me and we were both lazy yesterday. We started out for a walk around 10:30 am thinking we’d feel better but we were back home by 10:45 am and spent the rest of the day just resting. We did manage to finish up the Sausage Soup and I’m so glad we made it the other day. Neither of us felt like cooking yesterday.

This morning's sunrise

I talked to my good buddy Ron last night for a bit. I’ve known Ron and his wife Sharon for a few years now and always enjoy chatting with them. Ron is awaiting a medical procedure before knowing if they can travel for the winter. If they do manage to get on the road they will once again be heading for Long Beach, Mississippi and the Magic River Campground. Good luck with the procedure Buddy.

Sure is pretty..

We both felt much better today, and yet we still just hung out around home and rested more. I did manage to catch my best friend for a quick chat. Her youngest son left Canada yesterday to live in Kenya. So we’re thinking about her and her hubby.

The pink glow of the evenings sunset

The rest of the day was spent tidying up a bit, taking a few short strolls out and about, but not far. We did manage to watch a movie this afternoon, A Few Good Men with Jack Nickolson, Demi Moore, and a few other folks. Always a good movie. Riley never seen it before so she really enjoyed it.

The sinking of the sun....

After that I puttered around outside for a bit, taking a few pics of the sunset, but nothing spectacular. After that it was inside to do this post and finish my book.

Fire in the sky....

Tomorrow we’re planning on getting out and about. Not sure where we’ll head off to but we will be getting into the Dogsled and heading it’s nose to the roadway.

Spreading across the sky...

Thanks for stopping by, sorry it’s not a bit more exciting.

Haze far off starting to obscure the mountains...

Until next time…take care, be safe..

  1. Sorry that you are under the weather but that is what happens. When one of us is sick, we can only think of sharing with our loved one. That's all Riley was doing. :)
Hope you are both back to normal soon.
