A short walk on a windy day.

Our Location:

Road Runner BLM, Quartzsite, Arizona

A windy day, a short walk and some chair moving at happy hour to hide from the wind. That was it, nothing else exciting happened all day.

A Grand Design Rally has a lot of rigs attending.

An interesting display in front of one of the rigs.

A very beaten up looking saguaro.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a marvellous day.

Until next time,

Take care, stay safe,

Deb

  1. I can't imagine hauling all that stuff around, to set up a display. Do they take it all down when they need water or to dump their tanks?

  2. Well, at least there was one calm day this week. That must have been the calm before the storm cuz we are sure getting blown around now!

  4. Those darn winds do ruin a perfectly sunny day. Hoping March is a better month, but I think that month has a reputation for winds. :((

    1. I'm tired of the wind but I guess that doesn't really matter! Hopefully we get better weather as March comes along.

  5. Hoping the winds die down for you! Cold and looks like rain any minute here in Sacramento. Snowed last night at home :)

    1. Thanks Shirley. I hope the weather improves for you as well. I think it's just a bad season for the southwest this year.

  6. If the wind is still with us tomorrow I say we hide together inside from it.
The Pirate Theme display is interesting. I wonder what the story behind it is.

    1. I think we need to stay out of the wind and inside sounds like a good idea.
The pirate theme was definitely interesting and I would like to ask about it, so maybe I'll walk over there and ask one day if the weather gets nicer.
