The wind howled all morning, blowing dust everywhere. Our friends Ken and Shirley pulled out this morning but we hope to see them again soon. We hugged, said our goodbyes and waved as they pulled away.
The rest of us sat around for a while but soon the dust drove us into our homes. The winds howled off and on for a long time today. However by late afternoon the wind had died down significantly and we spent some time outside for afternoon happy hour. Soon I was heading home and chatting with my dad, catching up on all the news from our Rock.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a great day.
Until next time....
Take care, stay safe,
The wind is blowing up here in Q as well. Everyone pretty much just hunkered down today.ReplyDelete
We hope to come that way early in the week. Hopefully we can connect again for a few hours.Delete
Cute of Yuma to curl up with Tom in his chair to get out of the wind. All in all, it was a nice warm day in spite of the sand blowing wind.ReplyDelete
It did turn out nice after noon, the heat was nice. I was surprised to see Yuma curl up there in that little space.Delete
Windy here too but no dust, at least. It was quite warm regardless.ReplyDelete
We had a difficult time walking between the motor homes because of the wind. The Igloo was doing some rocking in some of the bigger gusts but it calmed down significantly shortly after noon. I felt as if I was being sandblasted walking home.Delete
I think Yuma knows where his bread is buttered. Probably the warmest seat in the house!ReplyDelete
It was definitely warm cuddled up with Tom out of the winds in the late afternoon. Plus with the sun going down I’m sure it was warmer tucked in there. It didn’t look very comfortable though. LolDelete
