A few more photos of yesterday's jeep ride.....

Our Location:

Road Runner BLM, Quartzsite, Arizona

A very warm and almost windless day. Truly a day to sit outside and enjoy the day and a day to spend a bit of time inside out of the heat as well. I did both. Happy Hour with the neighbours and then inside. A perfect day.

The jeep down on the left and the Kofa Mountains way off in the distance.

It is unusual to see so many saguaros in groups.

Death is still regal and elegant.

Lots of different cactus,

Very sweet purple blooms.

A very interesting sign.

I love the view!

I couldn't climb up there.

There are blooms starting.

I have no idea what this is but it was at the Yellow Dog Mine.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Until next time....

Take care, stay safe,

Deb

    1. Thanks Jeff. I think that trail may be the one marked with all the Keep Out signs Doug ignored. Lol

    1. I loved the weather. I see a wind advisory for tomorrow for the area. I guess we have had all the good weather we are going to for a while.

  4. Yesterday was another beautiful day! After having so much wind, having a windless day is almost eerie.

    1. It was a beautiful day and yet I was sure asked you to take this crappy weather and drop it off elsewhere. So either you didn’t do it or this is the tail wind from you and Barb leaving HTDH so quickly in the dust. Lol

  5. Finally a nice day for exploration. Weird contraption ... I would guess a rock screen of some sort.

    1. It was an old metal bed springs on solid cement. I have no idea. Doug thought a cistern but I think maybe it was for the guy that snored the loudest. Lol

  6. Beautiful pictures, Deb. I do agree that Saguaro still looked beautiful and "regal" in death.

    1. The saguaros are to me what the Ocotillos are to you. They just seem to draw my eye.
