Yesterday’s post…..

Our Location:

North of MM 4, Ogilby Road, Winterhaven, California

A very sunny day with a cute sunrise. We were off to Mexico once again as Tom had one more dental appointment and Riley and I were invited along.

Sunrise yesterday

No clouds, not much of a show.

I took very few photos in Mexico as I’ve posted a number already. Tom went off to the dentist and we walked around doing a little shopping, a lot of looking and seeing a few new streets. We met Tom for lunch at an indoor restaurant with our best food experience yet. We would definitely go back again. More shopping, a drink and we were into the line for home. Long but it passed quickly. We were home somewhere around 5 MST.

One tiny little cloud picked up colour.

Soon the sun would pop out and the day would start.

A full day and I was tired, (awake since shortly after 2) and the couple adult beverages made it easy to skip posting last night since I hadn’t even looked at the photos. Instead I opted to do it this morning. As other bloggers know posting a blog takes a while, mine requires selecting photos, usually from too many choices, often times doing some cropping, straightening ( I tend to take pics at a slight angle), writing, getting the writing the size and place I want, fighting with blogger to get the photos I want where I want them, in the right order, sized and captioned. Everything needs to be proof read and changes made if necessary, sometimes more wrestling with blogger, more proofing and finally hitting publish. Blogging can take anywhere from an hour to two. I’m already tired just writing about it.

Very little to excite.

Our new mat. We bought at the Arizona Marketplace when we visited.

The photos were taken with my iPad with only the two from Mexico with my phone. They are as the came out, with no editing.

We hadn’t been down here before.

The colours are amazing. There are very many little spots like this one.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed the visit.

Until next time….

Take care, be safe…..

  1. Love the last picture! Those colors could do nothing but make you smile! I'm a lot like you with the waking in the middle of the night and not going back to sleep. UGH I hate those nights, and there's more of those than not! Love the mat, we've got one just like it :) Sound like a great day in Mexico once again!

    1. The colours always bring a smile, the just make it hard to have a bad day. Like you, it seems I’m getting more and more of those nights. They make for long days. We like the mat, we have always wanted something with Kokopelli on it. It was a wonderful day spent with wonderful friends.

    1. It is, although the dust seems to come through and show up easier than our last mat.

  4. Your not the only one who has a tendency to tilt photos because I've been doing it for years and still do. Despite knowing I do it I still have a bad habit of tilting the right corner down. There are very few of my photos that I do not have to straighten the horizon line.

    1. Thank you Al, I consider myself in good company. I’m a right corner tilter too.
