A very wind but sunny day…..

Our Location:

North of MM 4, Ogilby Road, Winterhaven, California

A day of sun and shadow, with lots of fluffy white clouds. Chatted with dad and sister Jan both on the big rock in the waters of Lake Huron, mild, rain, but slippery conditions, with very little snow. Above the freezing mark type of mild. Sister in law Barb leaves today heading for her sisters house and they fly out early tomorrow for a week of sun and sand in the DR. We hope they have a great time.

The sun and clouds performed a ballet on the mountains today.

Big and small shadows danced gracefully atop of the Cargo Muchacho Mountains.

Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time….

Take care, be safe,

Deb

  1. I miss sitting back in my gravity chair on the desert floor lazily watching the big cloud shadows slowly making their way across the distant mountains. So nice to see those big blue skies too.

    1. The light and shadow shows always seem so dramatic and stark. It is always fun to watch. It was great seeing the blue skies, now if we could warm up the temps 5 degrees we’d be happy campers.

  2. It turned out to be a beautiful day, but wind just keeps moving those clouds. Beautiful pictures. I bet it's warmer in the DR.

    1. It was still cold thanks to the wind. I love the shadow shows on the mountains and the dunes. I’m guessing it will be warm in the DR. Hopefully they have a week of excellent weather.

  3. Out of the wind it was quite lovely. In Tyson Wells, it got warm enough to take our jackets off. :) The wind can go away any time!

    1. I agree it can leave anytime, I would like some wind free days.

  4. It hasn't been quite as windy here in Q. If no wind, the 50 degree days wouldn't be bad at all. I guess we can't have it all! LOL

    1. Thanks Shirley. I love watching them float by and dance on the mountains. It's truly an inspiring way to spend some time.
