Happy Easter......

Our Location: Big Buck Resort, Hornsby, Tennessee
(205 Sparks Road)

A quiet Easter day here with a few rain drops this morning, a warm and muggy afternoon but very little sun all day. The park was quiet with only the odd person out and about today.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday where ever you may be on this day. I thought I'd leave you with a few of my favourite pictures taken over the winter.

  1. That looks like a great relaxing spot to spend some time.
I love the picture memories of the winter in Arizona. Great shots. I'm sure gonna miss those sights.

    1. We are being lazy here but it's that kind of spot. It's a spot that if you're a busy person it is a good central location, lots to see and do in most directions, not just Memphis which is not more than 40 minutes away. It's a great spot to get lazy and just enjoy the peace and quiet, relax, recharge, and enjoy the view. It's also a great spot for the DIY to do some repairs, cleaning, etc. Or you can mix and match! I can see it becoming a regular stop both directions in our winter travels.

Thanks, I'll add a few more along the way but like you I'm going to miss those sights for a number of months. I can certainly understand the draw to the south west.

      Take care, be safe,
      Deb

  2. Happy Easter to you and Riley. Isn't it funny how the desert around Quartzsite has a special draw to a lot of us. There is really nothing there, but we all want to go back. Safe Travels.

    1. Happy Easter to you and Suzie as well. Thanks.

WE did enjoy our time in the southwest and are looking to forward to our return trip next winter. Lots of things we want to see out there and you are correct, lots of things left to explore.

    1. Happy Easter to you and Bill as well. Thanks.

I'm soaking up all the warmth I can before we head north, but the long range forecast is looking pretty good for us. Looks like just a few cold nights and coolish days before the big warm up hits southern Ontario. I didn't look in your area but where we'll be going for a week or so it looks pretty good.

    1. Thanks Shirley. It may not be something you would like but we're happy here, and it's close enough for us to do all the little things we want on the way to and from Canada. A great location for us.

      Take care, be safe,
      Deb
