This morning Tom, Deb and I sat around drinking coffee and chatting until almost 9 am. We headed off to get ready for a 10 am departure. With Tom as chauffeur, we enjoyed the drive and soon reached our destination of the Arizona Marketplace. It was quite busy there today but we enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the vendors and even managed to run into Dave and Cheryl. Chatted for a few minutes and off we went. We also stopped at Walmart for a few little things and of course the UP Store and after that it was clear sailing back home.
A late happy hour which ended shortly after 6:30 pm and our day wrapped up. A chat with Dad had the news that nephew Jesse and his lovely wife Claudia are now the proud parents of a baby girl. I know only that all are doing well. I have no other information. Congrats to Jesse and Claudia on their little bundle, congrats to brother Rick and beautiful wife Barb on being grandparents again, and to Claude and Cindy on being first time grandparents. Dad of course is a great grandfather again, 14 as of today. A good day for all!
|I'm not sure Riley found the first one funny. Doug the on the right is for you!!!!! |
Thanks for stopping by, the photos were funny things I read while at the marketplace.
Until next time...
Take care, stay safe,
What! Me old. No way! Your dad has oodles of great grandkids. That's awesome.ReplyDelete
Yes he does and more are expected.Delete
It feels good to be out here again parked next to you and Riley. Thanks for coming shopping with us. Those were some "cute" shirts...lol Another addition to your family how wonderful. That is awesome, as Doug said, that your Dad has fourteen grandchildren.ReplyDelete
Thanks for inviting us along. It was a nice outing. It feels good to be back here with you and Tom, although there is an empty spot without the WL, Doug and Yuma. Dad will have another great in August, some time around his birthday.Delete
The Marketplace is always a great place to spend a day. We rarely find anything to buy but it is fun to walk around and browse!ReplyDelete
I enjoy walking around too. There is always something interesting to see.Delete
The Marketplace is always an enjoyable walk through and it would have been warm in those tents for a change.ReplyDelete
Congrats on the new family member!
Thanks Patsy. It is always a good place to see things and people watch a bit too.Delete
Nice shirts. I thought about going to the Marketplace yesterday. But Jerry decided to start working on the front yard and I was happy about that. But it would have been fun to see everyone.ReplyDelete
It would have been nice, maybe next time.Delete
OMG I love those shirts. Wish I was so clever to come up with stuff like that Hahaha. Wow great grandfather of 14! That's incredible. :) Love those signs too! Sounds like a wonderful day!ReplyDelete
It was a great day, and I’m not able to come up with those kinds of things either.Delete
