A very warm night, excellent temperatures had me getting up to close to 60F/16C around the hour of 7 am MST. The day topped out at about 82F/28C with a good breeze and so things stayed a very nice temperature.
The blooms weren't open when I was out walking this morning. Lots of possibilities here.
Our friends Deb & Tom at Celebrating the Dance left this morning around 10 am. Bittersweet was the parting but we are always left with the hope of seeing them again before heading off for the summer. The Stinger B's horn sounded as arms waved and with the Little Black Limo rolling faithfully behind they headed off on the next leg of their adventure. Safe travels friends!!!
Hooked up and read to roll. The wheels are rolling and they're off.
The rest of the day was spent just resting and I even had a bit of a nap. I chatted with my dad for about a half hour tonight. Baby news from nephew Jesse and wife Claudia. Hali Margaret Lestie (Margaret after Claudia's grandmother and Lestie after Jesse's grandmother who was my mother ) arrived safe and sound, weighing in at 7lbs 14 ozs. She's a cutie!! Congrats again to all.
One of the baskets we bought in Mexico.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed your visit.
Until next time...
Take care, stay safe,
Slowly, we all go our separate ways. It was a nice winter, even with the not so nice weather. Beautiful baskets. Happy birthday to Hali!ReplyDelete
Thanks Doug. True, we all knew that at some point we would head out in different directions. It was a great winter and although it could have been warmer, we did enjoy it.Delete
Parting is such sweet sorrow. Hopefully next year will be warmer for more happy hours. LOVE those baskets. What a great find!!ReplyDelete
True but this year isn't over yet, we may meet up again yet, one never knows. I love the baskets. We got them to hold pop, water and extra fruit.Delete
And then there were two. For at least the next 32 days. Love the bags!ReplyDelete
Thanks. We like the bags too. LOL.Delete
Wow. Love the baskets!ReplyDelete
We bought them to hold water and pop, instead of having cases on the floor, these stack neatly. One for extra fruit as well.Delete
Love the baskets! The blooms are just gorgeous! Can't believe it's only 32 days, went so fast!ReplyDelete
Thanks. I love the colours. The blooms are so pretty, I hope to see more before we head out. The winter did go very fast this year.Delete
I love the baskets!ReplyDelete
They are perfect for our purpose and we are hoping to enjoy them for a long time.Delete
The baskets were a great find. 👌ReplyDelete
They were and I think they will fill our need perfectly.Delete
It was bittersweet leaving yesterday. It has been a wonderful winter. Always that hope of seeing you both one last time before we all head back East and North. I did see the buds on that Prickly Pear...😊ReplyDelete
It was bittersweet but the adventure isn't over yet, we may see each other one more time before the story ends for the season. I thought you might be getting out to take a photo or turning around and changing your mind about leaving. LOL.Delete
