A very quiet day....

Our Location: Near American Girl Mine Road, BLM, CA

An over cast day, a wee bit of sunshine but a coolish wind until later in the day. A lazy Sunday for us. A quick chat with Dad this evening, warm up there in that great white north, a balmy 3C/ 37F today. Snow is melting, a few bare spots, the roads are bare. Maybe no snow for Christmas, but time will tell.

I snapped these while the new batteries were being installed in the Igloo.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all had a wonderful day.

Until next time.. take care, be safe,

Deb

    1. It is definitely a rebuild, from the frame out. It was just sitting in the yard but I think they have worked on it recently, the paint looked pretty shiny to be sitting out there too long.

  2. A little wax on that old Chevy and it will be good as new . Well that and some doors might help . Hit 62 degrees here in Boise today it was almost like I had went south for the winter ( not) Vern in Boise

    1. A few windows and an engine might help too.
Wow, a heat wave there in Boise, the shorts will be out and the skin will be tanning. Glad you had some nice weather.

  3. That car will be really cool when it's finished. Love slow, quiet days, seems to make the day longer as they go too quickly now a days!

    1. The car will definitely be cool when it's complete. A gem in the making.
We like quiet days and since we are having a few cloudy and coolish days we don't mind looking out at them. With this being so close to Christmas we have no desire to go into Yuma for anything.

  4. Reads like two good days spent just enjoying time in this beautiful part of the country. How nice to have Elva and Jerry stop in for a visit, you meet the nicest people out in the desert.
