Summer may be coming....

Our Location:
Summer spot, near South Baymouth, Ontario

I've been writing this post over a number of days.

Old Man Winter just won't go home this year, he keeps making the rounds every few days and over staying his welcome for weeks at a time. However I do believe spring might be arriving by mid week and hopefully likes it here enough to unpack and stay a while. I guess time will tell.

Looking out the door with snow pellets coming down.

Our dark brown mat is totally white with snow pellets.

The photos today are just random shots taken over the past number of days. Things are quiet here and we like it that way. I've talked with both of my older daughters over the past days, and I think I can safely say we will all be very happy to see this never ending winter and quarantine end.

Over the course of about an hour, the snow melted but started falling again.

Walking over the rock, the moss makes the rocks look squishy.

The above two photos were taken from one of my brother's deer stands.

The above two photos were taken during a walk and yes those are snow flakes falling. This pathway is called the 5Th Line. No longer used for cars or trucks but popular with Quads, ATV's and walkers.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you and yours are all well and staying busy, warm and in touch with family.

Until next time....take care, be safe, stay healthy,

  2. Nice to hear from you two. Yes, I do believe spring has officially arrived! Not sure when you had the last snow but our weather changed for the good on Wednesday. Windy and wet now but warm temps! Yay!

    1. Glad things are better in your neck of the woods, I've been thinking of you folks down there in that 'wild weather' zone for the past couple of weeks. Hope all is well.

    1. Thanks Shirley. We definitely have ushered in summer, the temps are warmer than normal, the sun hotter than normal and the water higher than normal. However the breeze is still nice, the views are great and the visits are wonderful. So I think it all evens out.

    1. Spring has sprung and summer has fell, etc, etc. Haha. I'm sure you know that saying. Like you folks a bit south of us, we too have opened the door and found summer on the doorstep. We'll take it.

  6. Enjoyed your random pictures even the snow ones. Of course, that is easy for me to say we are in a warmer climate. Our daughter has been talking about the same sort of weather. Though it sounds like spring is coming to the north. It does look serene there. Take care and hugs to you both.

  7. I think we are all having a most unusual spring. Still lots on snow on the local Mounties as a result of all the rain and we have four more days of that in the forecast. We just have to make the best of each day and get out between the rain and snow flurries. Pretty pictures though.

    1. Very true Contessa. We must make the best of each situation, and we didn't have enough snow to build a snowman, so we were very happy. Haha.
