The morning found us with nice temperatures again and they simply improved with each passing hour. We headed out for a walk this morning and even with my usual amount of steps today I enjoyed a much less painful stroll. I took it easy for the rest of the day not wanting to push my luck. A most excellent day for me. I chatted with my sister and my dad today, they both confirm melting temperatures and a few bare patches of grass. It sounds like pretty good weather there as well.
Can you see the dog sitting over there? |
No, just a stump. |
Some of the bushes are flowering here. Can you see the pretty yellow flowers? |
This wash cuts through the desert from the mountains toward the dunes. |
You can see the Cargos off in the distance. |
Not many here but we are back there probably a bit less than a mile. |
Not all of the Ocotillos are green yet. But they are beautiful in their coat of green. |
The white boxes are pictures that were deleted for various reasons but blogger won't let me take them out. As you can probably tell it's not been an easy night to blog. Oh well, it's as good as it's gonna get!!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a fantastic day.
Until next time....
Take care, stay safe,
Deb
Glad you're feeling better. Temps are going to hit 80 this week. Won't be long before we start complaining about the heat 😄
ReplyDeleteNo humidity or very little will make me a happy camper.

You had me fooled with the stump!
ReplyDeleteI had to walk closer to make sure it wasn’t a dog caught on the stump. Lol

Yup ... completely fooled by the dog. GREAT picture!!
ReplyDeleteI too was fooled, and required a closer view. Lol

Lol...the dog. You never know what you will find in the desert. Yesterday was a little warm and warmer days are on the way. My poor NorCal might have flooding.
ReplyDeleteI totally did a double take at that stump! And there were no empty boxes when I read your blog.
ReplyDeleteI too did a double take with the stump. I thought maybe it was caught there or something. LOL. The preview showed little white boxes that I couldn't get rid of.

The winds and clouds have left Borrego as well. Gonna be a good night for stargazing. Glad all is well there and with time to enjoy it
ReplyDeleteSorry Deb - Jeff and Fran here. We’re Anon using the cell
DeleteI'm glad the weather is improving. If you folks are heading this way we will be here a few more days. WE have a big yard! I could get used to these warmer days!!! I hate trying to do anything on my cell with my fat fingers. LOL

Oh I love the pictures. So glad it's warmer for you there, even if it's boring~
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the day but there wasn't much to blog about, so a boring read. I'm hoping to get out and about a bit more but I think I'll have to aim for next year.
