A quiet day in Los Algodones, Mexico. Lunch, a couple of adult beverages and a little shopping. No lines anywhere and we liked that. So I will let the pics do the story telling today.
I think I surprised Doug! |
We actually sat and waited for Deb & Tom to come along before we went through |
the wall to the customs office.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all had a wonderful day.
Until next time...
Take care, stay safe,
Deb
You will be taking your permanent Mexican residency soon!!! I always smile when reading the 3 amigo's blogs because it is a race to see who posts first. I always read them in chronological order so its either you or Doug that wins. Deb is normally last but she does have the best pictures. Glad you enjoying your time there but for gosh sakes get out some shorts!!! Doug has been wearing long pants for too long!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry, Lorne. I just don't want to be mistaken for a chicken while visiting Mexico :)
DeleteWe are enjoying our excursions into Algodones but soon it will be time to leave the area for this season. I try to post early because I talk to my dad around 6 MST and by that time my day is winding down and as you know Lorne blogging is a process and can take a great deal of time, and I do need my beauty rest! It’s been too cold recently for shorts until just the last two days but I think he could have put them over his long johns! Lol

I know the wait returning to the US can be long. Nice to know Los Algodones can be a fun visit on the weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to visit any day.

Nice pictures, Deb. It was a perfect weather day for a visit and I do like the short lines to leave. Had a great time.
ReplyDeleteIt was a perfect day. Enough choices and no waiting. The warm sunshine made for perfect weather.

When I went on Saturday there was no line either. Now I have to go back today, we'll see what happens!
ReplyDeleteYou can come by today since you know how to find us now! We don’t charge parking fees and we could even be convinced to share an overnight spot if you like. You could teach us about howling! Lol.

I just posted a blog with your requested video. Today we are headed north towards Q!
DeleteI think it takes a special kind of person to do that. Lol. I will leave it at that. Safe travels!

Weekends are less crowded for sure ... but fewer vendors unless you need dental, glasses or meds. The bright colors always make me want to paint my house like that!! Looks like lunch was delicious!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed lunch a great deal. The colours are definitely cheerful. I never considered a Saturday as that is often the busiest day for errands etc.

Please read my post
ReplyDeleteDefinitely quieter on a Sunday. Your food looks good and so do the drinks. I'm with Lorne, reading yours and Doug's blogs to see who posts what. Sounds like another fun day!
ReplyDeleteWe had an enjoyable day, very relaxing.
