We have arrived in Q…..

Our Location:

Road Runner BLM, Quartzsite, Arizona

We left Gage at 7 am MST. We rolled along all day with no issues. The miles fell behind easily. We stopped a few times for a couple of reasons. We crossed the Continental Divide once again forgetting to note the time or get a photo.

We are definitely getting closer.

The mountains are getting closer.

Welcome to Arizona.

The day was sunny and cooler than yesterday but still nice. We both commented that overnight in Gage was our warmest ever stop there. It was a great night there.

Cactus are everywhere.

Of course we all recognize Texas Canyon Rest Area.

We arrived here at Road Runner BLM around 4 pm. A quick call to dad, set up and slipped outside to visit with our good friends Deb & Tom (Celebrating the dance….) They were kind enough to offer us a spot in their front yard and we accepted. We are looking forward to spending time with these wonderful folks.

Throttle Therapy…isn’t that  too funny?

A rest stop!

Tomorrow I will spend some time on the phone dealing with a number of things, we hope to do some laundry, and do a bit more organizing. Hopefully we accomplish a few things.

Our first happy hour of the winter season.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed your day.

Until next time…..

Take care, stay safe,

Deb

  3. Oh...I'm sad. Jerry and I have run into some health problems. Otherwise we would be in Quartzsite right now. But I know we will meet up somewhere in that desert.

  8. Very cool, it does not seem as though that took very long. It may seem like it to you but to your readers, you got down there in no time at all. Say hi to Tom and Deb for us and enjoy your time down there!

    1. Thanks Doug. We are going to just relax for a day or two and then start getting a few things accomplished. It’s not quite the same without the WL in the window.

  11. It is like watching the birds back home gathering for the migration, as more and more folks slip into the area for a winter hideout.
