The title says it all. No sun today, the wind blew all day and the rain from last night still gives off a dampness. No sunrise pics and while there maybe a sunset, this post will be published before that happens. Or at least that is the plan. Today’s photos give you an idea of what the day was like.
It hinted all day of the sun lurking…. |
You can see all the doors are closed. |
The neighbours went out. |
The skies are gray. |
And home is beckoning. |
I chatted with my friend Linda today, and my dad last night. All seems well in the great almost white north. Little snow, but cold temps, ugly wind and a bit of sunshine. Some gray days too.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a good visit.
Until next time…
Take care, be safe,
Deb
I remember those kinds of days in the Southwest. Stuck inside and wondering what the folks back home were up to.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. It was a long day and while I was tempted to nap, I didn’t. I did a lot of reading though.

Fingers crossed the sun comes out tomorrow. It was a good day to go in and run some errands.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed we don’t blow away! Lol. I’m glad we are delaying for another day.

Overcast and gray, but at least it's not snow!! Seems much warmer here than in Indio. Sun is on the horizon for this week however.
ReplyDeleteI hope it pops over the horizon with no clouds soon. With all this wind it might get blown off course. Lol

Windy here in New Mexico as well. Looks like we'll be driving right into it today.
ReplyDeleteI think New Mexico and Texas are always windy and always a head wind. Lol.
DeleteContinued safe journey.

ReplyDeleteSunshine is always welcome!
