Our Location: AZ 95, near Palm Canyon Rd, Arizona
A very quiet past couple of days. Today we did all the puttery stuff that we all do before heading out in the morning to a new location. I didn't take any photos today but I'll some of cactus photos just because I can.
A bit of wind picking up this afternoon but nothing too much. We watched a bit of tv this afternoon for a couple of hours as we needed to be inside out of the heat, we registered 78F/25.5C before the wind started.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed your visit.
Until next time... take care, be safe,
Deb
So many types of cactus and they all can hurt you. It was quite warm today till the wind picked up and cooled things off. Have a safe move tomorrow. :)) See you down the road.
ReplyDeleteLots of pointy sharp things in the desert for certain. We must be aware or we'll be using some pliers to pull them out. Safe travels to you as well.

That 78F sounds pretty good to me up here right about now. Of course if I was down there I would probably be complaining it's too hot but too hot and dry sure beats to cold and damp any day. I really miss the desert landscape and all it's colorful prickly cactus. When we had our Congress house I really liked planting and working with cactus around our property. All the best to you guys:))
ReplyDeleteI agree, it sounds good but then again it sounds a bit warm as well. However I'd rather be a little too warm, than a little too cold. I recall you working very hard in the yard at your Congress home. The desert cacti are always interesting to me and I enjoy snapping a lot of photos. Thanks Al. I hope you folks stay warm and dry way up there in the cold.

Winds and a very cold 22 degrees are predicted for Tucson. Hope it stays warmer where you are. I do love seeing the cactus pictures. It's amazing how weird looking cactus can get.
ReplyDeleteOh my that is cold. Brrrr.... I would need a couple more layers on there. Cactus are always amazing and very fascinating to me. I never tire of seeing them. Stay warm Nancy.

Safe travels to you. Looking forward to see where your next locations is. I am parked here on Indian Pass Road and it is very windy morning. There is quite a bit of dust in the air.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter. It's windy for certain today. We had dead calm when we started out but once we reached Q, the wind just steadily picked up and has continued. Enjoy your time on Indian Pass Road.
