I had a tough night sleep wise and didn't catch more than a couple of hours. So when I finally got up around 7:30 AM I was awake and alert but still tired. I've been tired all day and managed about 30 minutes nap time around 1:30 pm this afternoon.
Lots of ducks around here.... |
The day has been cool with cloud cover and mist, some rain drops, more mist, and then nothing but off in the distance it looked like fog. So not a good day to be outside for sure and we didn't spend much time outdoors. A walk to the dumpster and that was it for out door activity.
Some of the spots available here ...... |
This morning we once again tackled the inside of the Igloo, this time the wood work, using Murphy's Oil Soap to give them a good cleaning and they needed it. With that accomplishment behind us the rest of the day was spent just doing a few little things to amuse ourselves.
I chatted with my sister for about an hour, then with my dad for a few minutes and that was it for phone conversations.
The office, bistro and laundry house.... |
After that I read my book, took a short nap and took the trash to the dumpsters. That concludes our day. Thanks for stopping by, sorry there is nothing more exciting to report. Feel free to leave a comment.
The front of the clubhouse.... |
Until next time.... take care, be safe,
We're in spot # 18. |

Too bad about the rain , at least you are getting your inside chores done. Looks like a wonderful park.
ReplyDeleteRain is unpredictable and it's truly not that big of a deal. It would be nice to have sunshine but then again, rain is a necessary quantity as well. So it's all good. We can just sit back and relax, enjoy our time here and we are getting more acclimatized to the temperatures which aren't too warm back in Ontario either.
DeleteWe are enjoying the park and will continue to appreciate the finer points of the area over the next week or so.
Take care, be safe,
Deb
We got very little rain over here in Middle TN. This morning we've got a foggy, misty morning very pretty actually. Haven't bee out yet! Sounds like you're getting the igloo nicely cleaned up. Beautiful park!
ReplyDeleteThe forecast is calling for rain for certain in the next couple of days and so we're just going to sit inside and watch it fall. The temps aren't too bad but not as warm as we'd like but then again it's only March, we can't have everything. We had very little rain all winter and so a bit now won't do us any harm.
DeleteIt's a nice park and we're enjoying the area. Maybe we'll slip into the big city of Memphis one of these days for a while to see the sites. Who knows.
Take care, be safe,
Deb
I think we are all going to get the rain so should all have spotless clean rv's! nice that you got those chores done. Nothing wrong with the indoors, we love ours so have no problem being inside when we have to.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the park and take it easy!
Exactly, we like our Igloo just fine and it's nice to be cozy and comfy. We have everything we need and if we don't have it, it's not far down the road to get it. Without rain nothing will grow and after all, it is spring.
DeleteThanks Patsy, we're planning on enjoying our time here and if we see the sun, that's nice, if not, oh well, it's not the end of the world. We'll see it eventually. In fact I'd rather it rain while I sit than while I drive.
Take care, be safe,
Deb
What is it about rainy days that make you, well at least I know it does me, want to clean. I know for me it is because I want to relax and listen to the rain drops but I want to do it in a clean place. Looks like a nice park hope the sun peeks through the clouds soon.
ReplyDeleteFor me, I'd rather clean on a rain day and be outside on a sunny one!!! Besides when I'm outside on nice days I always think, oh one day I'll be stuck inside and I'll do ...(fill in the blank) then. So now is then, if you know what I mean.
DeleteIt's a nice park, some great areas to walk and it's peaceful, very quiet. We're close to many things and just a few miles from Memphis should that urge hit us.
Take care, be safe,
Deb
