Only a few photos and words today....

Our Location:

Saddle Mountain BLM, Tonopah, Arizona

Chatted with my dad today for a few minutes, they are experiencing colder weather and a few flurries have fallen but not really stayed. However places nearby have had a blanket of light snow.

A nice campsite on MM 13 road.

Since today is Sunday Riley and I just really didn't do much and the windy conditions encouraged us to stay inside and watch some movies today. A short drive and a walk this morning netted these very few photos today.  We travelled down to MM 13 (mile marker) and hung a left at the wash and followed the path, we have parked back in there a few times over the years and will again some time but today we just enjoyed the views.

I've hiked back there before but not today.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed your day and your visit.

 I love the view.

Until next time...

This beautiful young saguaro is part of some desert artwork.

The path leads to the left at the top of the heart and circles the above photo.

Take care, be safe,

And the friend whispered,"Lean on me,  when your not strong....."

Not much happening here....

Our Location: Near American Girl Mine Road, BLM, CA

A very quiet day, sun, warmth, a bit of wind but an amazingly nice day. We managed to sit outside for a while this morning, into the afternoon. Dividing time between the sun and shade but eventually came inside opening all windows and the door. The right temperature and out of the cool breeze.

Chatted with my dad this afternoon, he called to say they are in the midst of a major snowstorm with extremely high winds. Never a pleasant place to be when those things are happening.

Riley and I spent a very quiet Sunday, reading, discussing plans for tomorrow or this week at least. No walks today, giving all those joints a break.

Today's photos are of our sunset tonight. Thinking of all those folks near and far that will be continuing, starting or dreaming about their journey in the days ahead. Wishing all of you safe travels and wonderful dreams!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed the sunset.
