Hello 2023, what a start to the year. Fog, dust and wind, wind and did I mention wind. Advisory for wind and later for blowing dust. Yes, we managed to get both, lots of sustained high winds and plenty of blowing dust. We have a fine layer of dust over everything and I see a good vacuuming in the near future. Needless to say we stayed inside all day as eating dust is not something I enjoy. A very short visit with Doug this morning as he and Yuma came over for a quick Howdy before the dust started blowing around.
A campfire last night with the neighbours, Deb, Tom and Doug.

Fireworks going off all around us but the fire was pretty.

| At some points we couldn't even see the mountains, this is a lull in the storm. |

| Parts of the afternoon were so dusty the camera wouldn't hold focus as dust blowing by would make it too difficult. . |
