A beautiful day…..

Our Location:

Road Runner BLM, Quartzsite, Arizona

A very chilly start to the day at 40 F/4C. It warmed up nicely as the day went along, I’m not sure of the final number but it was very pleasant.

The end of the climb, Tom turned around here.

The elements have worn this hole over time.

Riley and I had a lazy day and I enjoyed Happy Hour with Deb and Tom, a chat later with my dad and that was our day. I forgot to mention in yesterday’s post a Happy Birthday to son in law David. I did wish him happy birthday yesterday but forgot to mention it in the blog. David is married to my middle daughter Bradey and the proud father of two boys, Auston and Lincoln. We are very fortunate to have such a nice young man in the family.

The water has worn this path….

to this end. Can you see the tank down there?

A few more pics from the Jeep ride in King Valley Road. I have enough for one more post after it’s one.

This staghorn cactus is showing red on the tip.

I love the views.

Until next time….

Take care, stay safe,

Deb

Cold,rainy, windy day….

Our Location:

Road Runner BLM, Quartzsite, Arizona

The day was overcast from early in the morning. Rain, cold winds and  a grey sky sums up the entire day.  A quick trip to town for us with a couple of stops and the rest of the day was spent indoors. I ventured over to the Stinger B for happy hour. The washes are starting to accumulate a little water now, nothing major, just a bit. Perhaps the desert will bloom before we leave.

The Little Black Limo is down there.

A beautiful view down the valley from Horse Tank.

The water comes down there, Tom and I climbed up there.

A couple more tanks on both ends of that black rock.

Can you see the LBL down there now?

The tank is pretty low.

A Yucca growing back here in this very arid spot.

I didn’t follow that trail.

More of our Jeep ride into King Valley Road. I hope you enjoyed the visit.

Until next time….

Take care, stay safe,

Deb
