Our Location: Saddle Mountain BLM, Tonopah, AZ
A hike today, round trip around 4.5 miles. Enjoy.
I figured out today that hiking here must be accomplished on a trail as the growth is too thick to climb safely otherwise. You cannot see the ground, the rocks, the holes and as it is very warm, you wouldn't be able to see any snakes either.
A very green arm near the above hole.
This one isn't going to make it.
That little smudge is the Igloo.
I originally started out in that direction but after walking for about a half mile I realized I had forgotten to put the SD card in the camera. I had to return to the Igloo to get it and so that was a mile even before I started taking photos. I opted for a shorter distance and will leave that area for another time.
That little white spot is the Igloo.
I believe that may be the Harquahala (Hark-wa-hall-a) Mountains way over there in the background.
Those rigs are parked further along to the west of us on Courthouse Road.
A few clouds in the sky made for a darker middle in this photo.
I'll have more photos in my next post. However I think this is enough for today. Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time.. take care, be safe,
Deb
