Our Location: Near Tonopah, Arizona
A very cold morning with the temperature reading 31 F/ - .5 C but the saving grace of no wind made the day feel much warmer. We had a full day of wonderful sun shine and much warmer day time temperatures than predicted. No complaints about the weather today.

| So small and soft looking, aren't they? |
 |
| Hedge Hog cactus, some healthy, some not so healthy. |
A couple of strolls for me today but no hiking and I stuck to mostly good roads with only one or two little cross country paths. I met a fellow Canadian Jack, I waved to Jack's wife Nancy but didn't meet her. They hail from the area around Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jack was trying to decide if his motor home would make it through a wash or if he'd have an issue. As it turned out, Jack decided to by pass the parking in that particular area. However tomorrow we will pack up the Igloo and move to the area, I have no worries about us making it through the wash.

| Some Teddy Bear Cholla and a couple of Ocotillo. |
A call to my friend Linda tonight and a call to Courtney as well pretty much rounded out the day. So there you have it, a few words for a quiet day. Today's pictures are the last ones from my hike of a few days ago.

| Saguaro's in all shapes and various states of health. |
 |
| I'm amazed how new 'ribs' just appear and how creases or bends or ripples seem to all of a sudden be there. |
 |
| The bottom three photos are of the same thing. Arms around the Saguaro and the limb is starting to puncture the young Saguaro. |
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a very pleasant day where ever you may be and whatever you may have done to pass the time.
 |
| We see this mountain out our door. The views vary greatly depending on the sun and the shadows. |
 |
| At times it looks like a completely different mountain. |
 |
| I never tire of this view. |
Until next time... take care, be safe,
Deb
