A good night for sleeping with the windows open and some of the blankets off. A slight breeze keeping it cool enough to be comfortable but not breezy or cold enough to shut the windows or pull the extra blanket back up.
The dentist office is at the end of Snowbird Alley. |
Riley and I were out the door a few minutes before 8 am. We had trash to dump and an appointment in Mexico at 9. We made it with plenty of time to spare. Our destination was the dentist, we were both scheduled for a cleaning. We were both in and out by about 9:45 am. The price was a very reasonable $80 USD. It’s not the deeper cleaning we get back home but that is fine.
A very cute tree. |
I really like that picture. |
We met Deb and Tom (Celebrating the Dance) at the prearranged corner pretty much right at 10:00 am. Very good timing. The four of us settled in for breakfast, some chatter and a few laughs. A quick stop at the pharmacy, a short walk and by noon we headed back to the border. No line to speak of, very quick and easy, a friendly Customs Officer and we were across. We parted company in the parking lot, each of us heading off in our direction. Riley and I off to get some fuel and food stuffs.
Pretty chairs too. Not quite comfortable nor uncomfortable. |
Back home I had a quick chat with both Ken and Kim, separately as they happened to wander by at different times. After that it was inside for the rest of the evening.
A very clean and appealing waiting room. |
Sitting on the counter. I think it’s very cute. |
Riley’s feeling much better, still a cough and a bit stuffy but doing better everyday.
Until next time….
Take care, stay safe,
Deb
It is hard to beat those dental prices! We have had our last couple dental appointments down there and, knock on wood, we have not had any issues. Just a cleaning? No cavities or root canals?
ReplyDeleteJust a cleaning. Fun stuff! Lol. We then went for breakfast and coffee so the cleaning was almost an excuse!

Our dentist visits take us to Tijuana, but now one of the two crossings is being used exclusively by the migrant hoards. So the wait to return is gawd awful. Glad you had an easy crossing, might be worth the drive there :)
ReplyDeleteIt will get worse here I think. After Christmas I think the lines will be longer. Of course I also think if you avoid certain times or days it will be better. The weekends are better and some dentists are open on Saturday.

Did you go back for the waffles at that place we were all at?
ReplyDeleteNo we thought we’d wait for you and Brenda since we all liked the place so much. Lol

Just a cleaning but necessary stuff!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely it’s necessary stuff. We have an appointment booked for another cleaning before we leave for home in the spring.
