A quiet day here in the southwest….

A quiet day here at our home dirt, I popped into Fry’s for a few things for today’s happy hour. Riley stayed home as she is still battling this sinus cold. She is doing better but the lingering cough is not fun.

As I was heading into town I noticed John and Brenda were packing up and getting ready to head out. I didn’t stop as I didn’t want to interrupt the process, we all know how difficult that is. They were gone when I came home. We wish them safe travels and good times.

Happy hour was a quiet affair, due to a bit of a breeze and cooler temps we enjoyed our third day of Christmas in the Igloo with some cheese, crackers and wine.  It was nice being able to host as the Igloo is now spacious enough for us to do so.


Sorry, we already started eating… 
With a moveable island we can place it anywhere.

    I love the blankets on your chairs!! And a movable island ... very convenient!!!

      Thanks. We are really liking the island, the sides flip up to make it a useable table or just more counter space. We’ve had the blankets for years. We love em too.

    It is nice that the outside weather offers us days to be indoors. We all love our homes and it is nice to share them. On to Day four!
