This morning the temps were as pleasant as yesterday morning and the day pretty much followed the same heat as yesterday. A beautiful day with no complaints here from us.

I headed out this morning, leaving Riley behind as she didn't want to come, around 8:30 am, a garbage run before my drive to Wellton. I arrived at Jerry and Elva's place about 9:45 am. Jerry and I headed off toward the Fortuna Foothills in his toy!! Jerry is an excellent guide and driver, thanks again Elva for the loan. Thanks Jerry for the wonderful day, I appreciate it more than I can tell you. I had a very good time.

Back home around 2:30 pm or so, Riley and I spent the rest of the day just relaxing and enjoying the warmth. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the ride. I'll have enough pics for a few days.

There is a beauty here that is hard to describe. 
The distances one can see is amazing.

The internet seemed to be having an issue and I couldn't upload the last four photos last night. It seems to be better today. I'll write another post later.

It's an interesting area. It's not as picturesque as other areas. But the ruggedness has a different kind of beauty. Jerry is always ready for a ride.

Glad you were able to get out on an ATV ride. Bet it was fun to ride out in the desert without worrying about getting stuck.
