Our Location:
North of MM 4, Ogilby Road, Winterhaven, California
A nice night, vents open and before long the door was opened to the morning warmth. A walk for Riley and I to American Girl Mine Road, cross country of course, and that was the extent of our business doings today.

| The desert is full of surprises, I don't think I've seen this before. |
I cooked some sausages early in the day for lunch, and managed to sit in the sun reading for a couple of hours before we put out the awning and attached the sunshade. Inside for lunch and a noise outside of the window caused us to peek out and sure enough a familiar rig was pulling in to our location. Deb and Tom arrived around the 2 pm mark.

And what colour they will be?
After they were set up we gathered at the Igloo for happy hour and enjoyed the shade and later the sun, along with laughter of course, chatter and just a comfortable feeling of being with special friends. A quick chat with my dad tonight, lots of wood cutting going on up there on the Rock.

Not a lot of folks here now, but still a few. 
Friends have arrived here on Ogilby Road!

It was a beautiful day in the desert....so beautiful that our neighbor was working outside with no shirt. Uhhh...not a pretty sight...lol lol 😆.

It was a surprise to hear Tom and Deb arrived. That's great. So nice to have these warm sunny days with only slight breeezes. 😌 Enjoy.

There's always something new to find in the desert. I think I'm going to miss most of the blooms this year. They sure can be spectacular.
