Today's plan was a birthday celebration for Riley in Mexico and so that is what we did. Doug, Riley and I headed off in the Dogsled for a very relaxing few hours in Mexico. We left around 9:30 MST and got back home around 2 -2:30 MST. A nice relaxing day was enjoyed by all.
We have a busy day planned tomorrow with a number of errands/chores in Yuma that will take a big part of the day for us.
Another birthday note, my cousins Bob and Ruth (brother and sister, oldest and youngest child) celebrate today. Bob is in his mid 60's and Ruth in her mid 40's. One remains on the rock in Lake Huron and the other moved a number of years ago to the east coast of Canada. We wish them both a very happy birthday. Also a happy birthday to Sally, who celebrates today. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you've all had a wonderful day.
Until next time...
Take care, stay safe,
Deb
Again, I am impressed with the clarity, crispness, and color in your photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Al. Just taken with my phone.

A photography compliment from Al Bossence is an important compliment, indeed!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you.

We've never been to Los Algodones, but read so many blogs of those who do go down for their dental/vision visits. We go to TJ as it's much closer, but the return is always a painfully long crossing.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Riley on yet another birthday celebration ...
We are enjoying our little excursions into Mexico a great deal.

ReplyDeleteThanks again Patsy. It was a very nice day and we enjoyed it a lot.

I'm impressed, Deb. Not many get such a generous compliment on their photography from Al. It was a fun day. I sure liked the no crowds. Made for a relaxing Sunday. Happy Birthday, Riley!
ReplyDeleteThanks Doug. We too enjoyed the less crowded streets. Very relaxing.

Sounds like a vert nice way to celebrate Riley's Birthday! We have never been there on a Sunday is it quieter? Great pictures, you always do a great job of capturing all the colors of Los Algodones.
ReplyDeleteIt was much quieter with only about half the places open or operating. Fewer vendors, fewer hawkers, fewer choices but still plenty of options. Thanks Deb.

Sounds like a fun day! What are the odds of a brother and sister having birthdays on the same day? 20 years apart no less!
ReplyDeleteHaha, the two next oldest boys have the same birthday date 2 years apart, and their oldest niece also shares the day! Besides the oldest- youngest thing.

LOVE those tablecloths. They sure make you smile! Happy birthday Riley!!!
ReplyDeleteThe table clothes are festive and eye catching, they brighten up a room. Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Those Red Hat Ladies were enjoying, especially the one at the end of the table :) So glad you enjoyed and Riley enjoyed her special day! Happy Birthday Riley! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the birthday wishes Shirley. The ladies were having a grand time, and were ever so happy that I asked if they were indeed The Red Hat Ladies and wanted to take their pics. I was photographer for a few of them. Lol. We had a good time our selves. I will say the waiter was an older male and I think the pretty ladies had him in a bit of a fluster! Lol.
